Discounts and offers as market stays down
Big deals around for the taking

Van makers continue to offer massive discounts in a bid to lure buyers back into the showrooms.
Following the deluge of ‘van weeks’ earlier in the year, van manufacturers are back with discounts again – don’t say we didn’t tell you so!
Citroën is offering some hefty discounts of up to £7105 across the range. This is for vans ordered by April 14 and registered by June 30 – though we can’t imagine they’ll turn you away if you demand the same discount after the dales “deadline”.
Offers include up to £1300 off a C2 Enterprise, taking the price to £7245; up to £2800 off a Nemo; up to £3620 off Berlingo First; and up to £3350 off a New Berlingo.
Dispatch range carries discounts of up to £5625. While you can get £6005 off a Relay 30 L1H1 100hp, taking the price to just £10,495. A larger Relay 35 L3H2 120hp costs £15,195, a whopping £7105 discount.
Meanwhile, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Finance has extended its contract hire and finance lease offers until June 30. And introduced them for the Crafter van range. Prices start from £189 a month for a new Caddy; £209 a month for the Caddy Maxi or £229 a month for the Transporter T26. The new rates for the Crafter start from £299 a month.
Volkswagen’s fixed-price service plan offers have also been extended to June 30. There are four service plans available covering a period of 36 months and a choice of mileage bands – 45, 60, 75 and 90,000 miles (whichever comes first), costing from £295 to £695.
Finally, for used van buyers, Volkswagen has also extended its lease purchase offers, with Caddy vans from only £99 a month, or Transporter vans for £129 a month.
With the SMMT trade association reporting van sales down 42.8% in March and down 26.9% to 248,658 for the rolling year, it looks like offers will continue for some time. It’s definitely a buyer’s market.
