Citroën announces Berlingo and Space Tourer EV prices

Citroën has announced that New ë-Berlingo and New ë-SpaceTourer are now open for orders, with first customer deliveries expected in April. Both models display the brand’s new design identity and logo, with a redesigned exterior design and an updated interior, while retaining the trademark practicality and comfort expected by Citroën customers.

New ë-Berlingo and New ë-SpaceTourer offer customers a range of new features to provide peace of mind, connectivity, driver safety and more efficient powertrains.

Prices for New ë-Berlingo start from £30,990 OTR MRRP and £37,990 OTR MRRP for New ë-SpaceTourer.

New ë-Berlingo

New ë-Berlingo features the new brand logo and Citroën’s new three-segment light signature, while the interior retains the modularity and comfort that made its predecessors so popular.

New ë-Berlingo is available in two trim levels, PLUS and MAX. PLUS variants come in two sizes (M – 4.41 m and XL – 4.76 m) with XL versions offering seating for up to seven. With the front passenger seat folded down, the load length extends to 2.70 m for the M version and 3.05 m for the XL version. New ë-Berlingo offers 27 different storage compartments, resulting in 186 litres of practical storage space. The range-topping MAX trim, offers state-of-the-art technology and class-leading comfort. New ë-Berlingo comes in five body colours including new Kiama Blue and Sirkka Green, alongside Icy White, Perla Nera Black and Cumulus Grey.

New ë-Berlingo PLUS models come as standard with Rear Parking Sensors, a 10-inch fully digital driving instrument display, LED headlights, LED Daytime running lights, and programmable cruise control and speed limiter to provide peace of mind on long journeys. New ë-Berlingo is also available with numerous assistance technologies as standard including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go function, Electric Parking Brake, Reversing Camera with Top Rear Vision, and Towbar Stability Control.

In addition to the standard features found on PLUS models, New ë-Berlingo MAX versions benefit from Citroën Advanced Comfort front seats, which offer lively colouring, specially designed lateral support and high levels of cushioning. In the rear of MAX versions, New ë-Berlingo comes with three independent, sliding and folding seats. MAX versions also come with 17-inch ‘Topaz’ alloy wheels, gloss black roof bars and a leather steering wheel.

New ë-Berlingo also benefits from the latest ‘My Citroën Drive Plus’ infotainment system as standard, which offers a high-definition 10-inch touchscreen available with 3D Connected Navigation. It features wireless smartphone mirroring compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto, and also displays the rear-view reversing camera with Top Rear Vision function.

New ë-Berlingo has an efficient 100% electric powertrain delivering 136hp (100kW) and a maximum torque of 260Nm, combined with a new 52kWh(50kWh useable) battery. Thanks to the enhanced efficiency, the zero-emission range of New ë-Berlingo is now up to 205 miles (WLTP Mixed cycle) and can be charged from 0-80% in just 30 minutes using a 100kW DC rapid charger. The new regenerative braking system now comes with a choice of three braking modes using steering wheel-mounted paddles, further increasing efficiency.

For internal combustion engine versions of New Berlingo, efficient PureTech 110 bhp petrol and the BlueHDi 100 bhp and 130 bhp diesel engines are available, but in M length only.

ë-Berlingo is available from £30,990 OTR MRRP with Berlingo starting from £23,090 OTR MRRP.

New ë-SpaceTourer

New ë-SpaceTourer offers unrivalled comfort and elegant simplicity. Available in two body lengths (M – 4.98 m and XL – 5.33 m), New ë-SpaceTourer is able to accommodate up to nine passengers with a wide range of seat configurations. New ë-SpaceTourer’s revamped exterior reflects Citroën’s new design language, while the interior is more comfortable, and more connected than before with the brand’s latest-generation infotainment system.

Private customers can choose between five, seven and eight-seater versions, while professional customers will find a solution that can be customised to suit their needs and carry from five to nine occupants, including the VIP Seating pack that features a reversible second row and seating up to seven people.

Practical and user-friendly for daily life, it is the ideal large MPV for carrying families, friends, or sports teams, and is also an ideal choice for professional passenger transport. ë-SpaceTourer’s range has been extended to 217 miles (WLTP combined cycle) offering drivers access to Low-Emission restricted urban areas while enjoying unrivalled driving comfort.

New ë-SpaceTourer is available in two trim levels: YOU! and top-of-the-range MAX. Both trim levels are available in M and XL body lengths, with YOU! models available with both 50kWh and 75kWh batteries. Key standard features include a fully digital driver’s display, a 10-inch HD touchscreen with wireless smartphone mirroring, rear parking sensors and numerous enhanced safety features, including keep lane assist, active safety brake, speed limit information with intelligent speed assist, high beam assist, and driver attention alert.

MAX models feature a 180° parking camera with front and rear parking sensors and lateral park assist, as well as 17-inch diamond-cut silver and black ‘Phoenix’ alloy wheels, Claudia Mistral leather seat trim, two hands-free sliding electric rear doors, heated front seats with massage function, and a heated leather steering wheel.

In the UK, New ë-SpaceTourer is offered with a comprehensive and efficient range of electric powertrains, offering up to 217 miles of range (WLTP). It guarantees enough range for the vast majority of daily journeys and unprecedented ride comfort without noise or vibration. The 136hp(100kW) motor is offered with two types of lithium-ion battery. The 50kWh(46.3kWh useable) battery offers a range of 139 miles (WLTP), perfectly suited to use for daily shuttles between a city centre and an airport, while the 75kWh(68kWh useable) battery, now offered for the first time in the UK market, offers a range of up to 217 miles (WLTP).

New ë-SpaceTourer comes with a 7.4kW onboard charger as standard and an optional 11kW three-phase charger. From a 7.4kW AC charger, the 50kWh battery can be fully recharged in 6 hours 40 minutes and the 75kWh battery in 11 hours 20 minutes. Using an 11kW AC charger, full recharge is achieved in 4 hours 50 minutes for the 50kWh battery and 7 hours 30 minutes for the 75kWh battery. With a 100kW DC rapid charger, it only takes 38 minutes (50kWh battery) or 45 minutes (75kWh battery) to charge the battery from 5-80%.
