Fiat Ducato 2.3 MultiJet II 30 L1H1 130hp SWB Tecnico Start/Stop
What is it?
This is the Fiat Ducato Mk6, the newest Ducato on the block since the model first burst onto the scene in 1981.
This ‘new generation’ Ducato is an evolution of the outgoing model (from 2006), using many of the same underpinnings, but with upgraded styling, an improved interior, better running costs, more robust construction, and latest generation Euro 5 + engines delivering exceptional economy – up to 48.7mpg.
The new Fiat Ducato is instantly recognizable by the sharp new frontal styling with wraparound bumpers and signature narrow headlamps. With the LED running lights (standard on our Tecnico review model), the Ducato is a muscular presence on the road.
Inside you’ll find a revised interior with smart ‘Techno’ finish including silver surrounds on the air vents and piano black around the centre console housing.
Our review model is the Tecnico with Start/Stop fuel saving technology in standard wheelbase guise.
Power is the 130hp 2.3 litre Multijet II turbo diesel engine through a six speed manual gearbox. As before with all Ducatos, the big panel van remains front-wheel drive. Our review van was fitted with an 800kg load on board.
