Ford Fiesta Sport Van review: pocket rocket to put a smile on your face

There’s only 1cu m of cargo space, but it provides useful carrying capability

• Comfortable, well-equipped cab

What’s not?

• Only 1 cubic metre of cargo space
• Hatchback-style rear door prevents flat horizontal loading and cargo has to be lifted over lower ridge
• Can’t be used for towing
• Service intervals could seem to come round quickly

Business Vans’ verdict

You won’t be considering the Fiesta Sport Van unless it suits your type of trade. But for speedy deliveries of non-bulky items and for maintenance work, it certainly fills the bill. It looks sexy (especially in red!) and is terrific fun to drive. So if you need a car-derived van that’ll put a smile on your face every time you fire it up, and will double as a sporty weekend ride when off duty, you should check out this feisty Fiesta.
