Vauxhall Corsavan 1.3 CTDi review

The load space comes with a wipe clean non-slip floor

What’s not?

  • Criticising this little firecracker seems rather churlish (it really is that good) but a couple of points arose. Firstly the wing mirrors are so small that they are of little benefit. It’s not a moan with the Corsavan exclusively, however – the Fiestavan suffers here too, as do all small cars.
  • While the ECO button, which slightly cuts down the power and adds extra fuel economy, is a useful piece of kit, it can be turned off by drivers as soon as they get out of your yard. If you buy vans for other people to drive, we would suggest using a drop of Superglue to stick the button down in the ON position so drivers can’t tamper with it.

Verdict on the Vauxhall Corsavan 1.3CDTi 95

If you don’t need loads of space, we would recommend this van against the current crop of hi-cubers on offer. It’s more comfortable, it handles better, it has much higher standard spec and it’s miles better on fuel economy. What more could you ask for?
