Verdict: tough and durable, but the latest Cabstar is uncomfortable and lacklustre to drive
Verdict
There is no doubt about the tough qualities of this vehicle and the improvements make it an even better choice for heavyweight work. But we couldn’t get over the uncomfortable cab and rough handling characteristics – and certainly couldn’t imagine having to drive the Cabstar regularly over any great distances. We’d plump instead for a dropside Ford Transit any day, even if it is more expensive.
