VW Amarok Canyon review: grunt meets glamour

• Looks fantastic – it’ll stand out and ooze style for your business.
• Great build quality – the VW Amarok Canyon feels solid and well built.
• Superb engine and gearbox coupled with comfortable ride and good handling.
• Loaded with high-end extras.
• It’s practical, too – if a pick-up works for your business, here’s one that will do what’s required while still providing luxury transport when off duty.

What’s not?

• Not much! Over-zealous parking sensors is one irritation – beeping constantly when you park in a tight space.
• It’s also quite pricey, but you probably wouldn’t buy this pick-up if that were a major concern.

Business Vans verdict

It’ll come as no surprise that we like the limited-edition Amarok Canyon.

If  you don’t need anything more than a pick-up for your operation, or a double-cab fulfils one of your business transport needs, there’s a great deal to be said for the Volkswagen Amarok – and the limited-edition Canyon shouts it out loud.
