SO keen is Auto Styling Truckman to begin production on a new range of hardtops for the 2015 Mitsubishi L200, that it has already taken delivery of one of the new models! The UK launch isn’t even for a couple of weeks either!

Shipped from Thailand by container to Auto Styling Truckman’s manufacturing facility in the West Midlands, the delivery of this new Mitsubishi pick-up is the culmination of six-months development of its next range of accessories.

On top of these commercial applications, Auto Styling Truckman are also working on a range of leisure hardtops for the new L200

The arrival of the new pick-up means that the company’s design staff can begin production of tooling for L200 hardtops for commercial applications, which are utilised by fleet operators in off-highway sectors and industries, such as railway track maintenance, power distribution, agriculture and construction.

On top of these commercial applications, Auto Styling Truckman are also working on a range of leisure hardtops for the new L200.

The 2015 Mitsubishi L200 is one of a number of new pick-up trucks set to hit the UK market in the next nine months including models from Nissan and Toyota.

Auto Styling Truckman has undertaken a programme of product development and will be introducing new hardtops into the market to coincide with the UK launches of the new vehicles.

Mike Wheeler, Managing Director of Auto Styling Truckman, said: “This is the first new version of the L200 since 2006 and there is a lot of anticipation for its launch.  The arrival of the L200 from Thailand enables us to move onto the next stage of production of our new commercial and leisure hardtops for the pick-up and we look forward to unveiling them to the market soon.”
