AUTO Styling Truckman, the leading 4×4 vehicle accessory manufacturer and distributor, has moved into new, larger HQ premises to support the continued growth of the business and its extended product portfolio.

Established in 2003, Auto Styling Truckman has been based at Narrowboat Way on the Blackbrook Valley industrial estate in Brierley Hill since January 2007.

Keeping its existing facility at Unit 1 to focus on manufacturing and production, with legal advice provided by Wolverhampton-based solicitor Andrew Wynne of FBC Manby Bowdler, the business has now bought Unit 14, a 52,000 sq ft modern factory unit as an investment.

This will become the headquarters for the business as well as provide sales, distribution, product development, warehousing functions and a new tool-making workshop.

The new HQ for Truckman will enable the company to vastly increase its office space in order to significantly grow its sales and marketing team and expand its engineering disciplines. In addition, the warehouse and workshop space is five times larger than the Auto Styling Truckman previous facility, which provides the added capacity required to support the company’s growth strategy.

Mike Wheeler, managing director of Auto Styling Truckman, said: “Having enjoyed consistently high growth in recent years and with the forthcoming launch of a new range of pick-up hardtops, we identified the need for additional space and were keen that this expansion should enable us to separate out our manufacturing function from the warehousing and distribution.

“When Unit 14 came on to the market we identified it as being ideal to meet our needs and allowed us to invest in a property near to our existing site.

“Having worked with Andrew Wynne of FBC Manby Bowdler since we established the business, we had no hesitation in instructing him on the purchase of Unit 14.  He has previously supported us on two rental properties and we’ve been similarly reassured of his professionalism with this purchase. I feel quite sure as Auto Styling Truckman continues to grow and evolve we’ll be working with Andrew and his team again.”

Andrew Wynne added: “It is fabulous to witness the success that Mike and the entire team at Auto Styling Truckman have achieved over the last 12 years and it has been a pleasure to support them on the purchase of this new site.  This is a move that not only made good logistical sense to the business, but which is also a commercially sound decision for a successful growing business.”
