Matte Amarok in stealth mode

IF you need a classy and capable pick-up, the popular Volkswagen Amarok could be the answer – but this unique Cordwallis-supplied model shows it means business in matte grey finish for a stealth mode rather than something flashy.

Facelifted late last year, our former Business Vans Best Pick-Up the Volkswagen Amarok continues to be a top-seller, with many van centres across the country reporting sell-outs, the result of eager buyers.

However, Cordwallis Group in particular is the envy of its competitors after managing to order an Amarok V6 in grey matte from the Volkswagen factory – the first in the UK.

How? Well, Cordwallis Group took advantage of the option to have this Amarok wrapped by the factory and were the first dealer in the UK to do so!

Cordwallis Group chose the matte finish, which is newly available, after the van centre noticed a growing trend in customers taking up the option.

To make this Amarok even more unique, they went further by ordering the vehicle with 19-inch Canterra alloys, the dust and pollen filter, high centre mounted LED brake lights, automatic headlights and wipers, load compartment coating, electric folding mirrors, a leather multi-function steering wheel with paddle shift and cornering fog lights.

In addition to the factory options, Cordwallis have painted the alloys, fitted chrome rear bumper guards, plus chrome side and rear bars in black, fitted a roll and lock cover and tinted the rear windows.

James Comyn, sales manager at Cordwallis Heathrow, said of this new Amarok colour option: “It’s not a low cost option, but we have had numerous requests from customers to wrap their vehicles, so we thought if we could get the same effect from the factory that is covered under warranty then why not.

“We ordered it straight away and we were the first dealer in the country to order one.”

Cordwallis Group Heathrow’s grey matte and high spec Amarok V6 demo is available for £42,000 plus VAT – alternative Amaroks start at £30,495 plus VAT.
