Citroen Relay Ready to Run Space Van by Supertrucks

Low step Space Van: perfect for removals

Citroen Ready to Run range extended with new Dispatch models

THERE is now more specialist business van choice from Citroen with the extension of its award-winning Ready to Run specialist vehicle range.

Introduced for 2011 are two new Ready to Run models: a six-seat Dispatch Crew Van and a high-cube Space Van conversion by bodybuilder Supertrucks (pictured above).

Dispatch Crew Van

The Citroen Dispatch Crew Van 6-seat Conversion has been developed by Snoeks Automotive, a leading European specialist. The conversion is carried out in the UK by CoTrim, Snoeks’ UK agent.

The conversion can be fitted to all Dispatch L1H1 1200 & L2H1 1200 panel vans. The three rear seats, fitted as part of the Crew Van conversion, have individual headrests and each seat has a three-point seatbelt. All seats, seat mountings and seatbelt mounting points are fully M1 tested (20g pull tested). The bulkhead behind the rear seats is tested to DIN 75410-3 load retention standards.

The three rear seats are trimmed to match the front seats and the rear passenger compartment has tailored anti-slip rubber flooring.

CoTrim also offers a wide range of additional cost options for the Dispatch Crew Van conversion, including glazed sliding side load doors and interior panel trimming for the sliding side doors.

The conversion also allows long loads to extend under the seat squab. This gives the Dispatch L1 crew van a load compartment floor deck length of 1,810mm, while the L2 model offers 2,110mm. The Dispatch Crew Van 6-seat conversion is priced from £13,895, plus VAT and delivery.

Supertrucks Space Van

Based on the Citroen Relay back-to-back cab, the new Ready to Run low-loading, high-cube Supertrucks Space Van has the lowest deck height/step height of any van available in the UK, says Citroen.

Available with a choice of two body deck lengths (4.1m or 4.5m) and two body volumes (20.4cu m or 22.29cu m), the Supertrucks Space Van is ideal for a wide choice of low density, high volume transport applications including furniture, bedding, office equipment, removals and computer/white goods transport.

With optional air suspension, the Space Van has a particularly low deck height of just 480mm and a step height of 290mm – and with the air suspension in the fully lowered position, these measurements are reduced to just 370mm and 190mm respectively.

Even with standard steel suspension, the Space Van offers easy walk-in accessibility with a load deck height of only 550mm and a step height of 370mm.

Depending on specification, the Space Van offers a payload of up to 1.3 tonnes and is priced from £24,825, plus VAT and delivery.
