The new Citroen Relay will go on sale in the UK at the end of the year but you can get early sight of the van at the show

4. Citroen Relay

Don’t miss the chance to give Citroen’s new Relay the once-over before it goes on UK sale in the third quarter of 2014. Full details of new Relay will be released at the show, with the line-up expected to include all major model configurations within the existing Relay range.

All variants be offered in a variety of gross vehicle weights, with a range of fuel-efficient, low-emission HDi diesels. The new Relay range will be available in ready-bodied specialist models, such as tippers, dropside trucks and Luton-bodies vans – plus a full range of ‘ready-to-run’ conversions.

Citroen’s CV Show line-up will also include a selection of Nemo, Berlingo and Dispatch models.

5. Isuzu D-Max Blade

OK – it’s not a van as such. But if a four-wheel-drive pick-up is right for your operation make sure you get a look at the new special-edition Isuzu D-Max Blade, which has been designed to turn heads among business users.

Isuzu has given the D-Blade an imposing list of style enhancements and technology upgrades intended to make the pick-up stand out from the crowd.

The Blade is a high-spec take on the Isuzu D-Max pick-up

It’s based on a premium model from the D-Max range anyway, but has more than £5000-worth of additional kit.

Among the visible extras are R18 Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyres, privacy glass, black doors, tailgate handles, roof bars and rear bumper. There’s also the choice of an Aeroklas hard top complete with internal light or a Mountain Top Black Roller Top Cover, which is unique to the Blade and not available as a separate accessory.

The tops are supplied and fitted within the on-the-road price along with an under-rail bed liner.

Interior upgrades include automatic climate control and premium black leather seats – heated in the front.

The Isuzu D-Max Blade is powered by Isuzu’s 2.5-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, which develops 163hp and 400Nm of torque, and returns a combined consumption figure of 38.2mpg. The pick-up has a towing capacity of 3.5-tonnes and a 1-tonne payload.

The D-Max Blade costs £24,995 (CVOTR) for the six-speed manual or £25,995 (CVOTR) for the five-speed auto version. A five-year/125,000-mile warranty is provided.
