IF you fancy giving Citroen’s new Relay the once-over before it will goes on UK sale in the third quarter of 2014, get along to this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show where the French manufacturer will be revealing this key model in its LCV range.

Full details of the new Relay will be released at the CV Show, and the range is expected to include all major model configurations available with the existing Relay range. There will be a broad choice of panel vans, chassis cabs, chassis crew-cabs and back-to-back cabs.

All variants be offered in a variety of gross vehicle weights, with a range of fuel-efficient. low-emission HDi diesels.

What’s more, the new Relay range will include ready-bodied specialist models, such as tippers, dropside trucks and Luton-bodies vans – plus a full range of ‘ready-to-run’ conversions.

In addition to new Relay, Citroen’s CV Show line-up will include a selection of Nemo, Berlingo and Dispatch models.

All Nemo vans have a 660kg payload and a 2.5cu.m load compartment, which can be increased to 2.8cu.m using the Nemo’s Extenso folding/sliding passenger seat, fitted as standard.

As well as increasing the load volume by 0.3cu.m this lengthens the load deck length alongside the driver by 968mm to 2491mm.

The Extenso passenger seat back folds horizontally onto the seat cushion and the complete seat lowers making the horizontal seat back level with the load compartment floor.
