YOUR business counts on dependable transport, and it’s vital to run a van that won’t let you down. So there’s more good news for Ford, as a survey of 50 of the UK’s largest contract hire and leasing companies has revealed that the company’s commercial vehicles are the most reliable on the market.
The Ford Transit, the UK’s most popular van, came top of the van reliability survey, and the Ford Transit Connect retained its second place from a year ago. In the manufacturer table, Ford moved up into the top spot ahead of Volkswagen.
Companies in the FN50 survey are polled each year and ranked according to fleet size, and are then asked to name their most reliable cars and vans. Those responding have a combined LCV fleet size of 160,000 making the FN50 reliability survey the largest study of its kind in the UK.
The Transit Connect model retained second place in the Top 10
Ford of Britain Mark managing director Mark Ovenden told Business Vans: “Ford is extremely proud that the Ford Transit and Ford Transit Connect have taken the top two spots in this reliability survey which is based on hard facts from our business van customers.
“This is a tribute to the passion and dedication of our designers and engineers at Dunton who make quality the highest priority, and which has kept Ford at the top of the UK commercial vehicle market for over 46 years,” he said.
