Fuel-saving Stop & Start Relays join Citroen van line-up

Citroen Relay 30 L1H1 HDi 130 and 35 L3H2 HDi 130 Stop & Start six-speed vans are now available

SAVINGS in fuel consumption and lower emissions are promised with the new Citroen Relay Stop & Start vans.

The technology is being offered on the Relay 30 L1H1 e-HDi 130 and Relay 35 L3H2 e-HDi 130 six-speed manual vans. The Relays join the Nemo and Berlingo in Citroen’s line-up of Stop & Start LCV models.

The new Relay 30 L1H1 e-HDi 130 Stop & Start has the best Urban Cycle fuel economy in the Relay range as well as the best Combined Cycle fuel economy at 39.2mpg. The Stop & Start version improves Urban Cycle consumption by 9.2% and cuts CO2 emissions by 10g/km to 189g/km.

And, at 27.7mpg, the Relay 35 L3H2 e-HDi 130 Stop & Start six-speed manual model’s Urban Cycle fuel economy is 5% better than its non-Stop & Start equivalent with CO2 emissions 5g/km lower at 224g/km.

The Relay 30 L1H1 e-HDi 130 Stop & Start six-speed manual van is priced at £19,660 and the Relay 35 L3H2 e-HDi 130 Stop & Start six-speed manual van costs £24,660 (basic recommend prices).

Citroen’s head of commercial vehicles & business centre programme Scott Michael told Business Vans: “The new Relay Stop & Start-equipped vans will appeal to all operators, but particularly those working in urban environments, where they will deliver worthwhile financial, operational and environmental benefits.”
