Glazing firm takes a shine to Renault Masters

The new Renault vans will deliver Amber Windows products throughout the Midlands and into Sheffield, Stockport and Milton Keynes

DOUBLE-glazing company Amber Windows has certainly taken a shine to the Renault Master.

The Midlands-based home-improvement company is replacing its existing Ford and Peugeot van fleet with a mix of medium- and high-roof Masters, starting with a consignment of 125hp long-wheelbase versions.

It is a sturdy but lightweight van which, combined with the longer wheelbase, gives us much better payload

The new Renaults will deliver windows, doors, conservatories and solar panels from its manufacturing base in Birmingham to customers throughout the Midlands and into Sheffield, Stockport and Milton Keynes.

So why pick the Master?

Eddie Taylor, Amber Windows director,  told Business Vans: “We wanted to update our fleet with a larger, stronger vehicle and the Renault Master ticks all the boxes. It is a sturdy but lightweight van which, combined with the longer wheelbase, gives us much better payload”.
