FOLLOWING the successful reveal of the EV80 at the CV Show last year, LDV chose Birmingham, the NEC and this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show to reveal its next electric model – the LDV EG10.

Unlike the EV80 which is basically an electric version of the former Maxus van, this is an all-new people mover. Available in two models – Flagship and Elite – it is powered by a 150kw Ternary lithium battery with maximum torque of 800Nm.

Standard EG10 equipment includes a multi-function steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors,  Bluetooth and an MP3 and DVD player.

This electric version of the EG10 will be followed later by petrol and diesel versions. LDV also had a product version of the EV80 on their stand.
