IF you run a small business whose transport requirements are also pocket-sized, then you should check out the new range of Loadhopper microvans soon to be available from DFSK.
The Loadhoppers will take a Euro pallet
The new 2013 range of models will start to go on sale at DFSK dealers in August, and will include updates of the existing single-cab pickup, van and tipper vehicles in addition to a new window van.
Some vans and single-cab pickups might even be available from dealers a little earlier. Later in the year, the new DFSK mini-bus, double-cab tipper and double-cab pickup fixed-side models will follow.
The 2013 models include exterior and interior changes (such as redesigned light clusters and front grille, interior trim and dashboard), and all single-cab models except the tipper will now be available with a 1.0-litre engine, in addition to the existing 1.3-litre petrol engine. All DFSK Loadhopper vehicles are Euro 5 compliant.
The Loadhoppers will take a Euro pallet and, according to DFSK, offer the best price-to-payload and load area of any comparable LCV. The vans have a rear glazed door and sliding doors on both sides and are equipped with driver and passenger steel ladder-frame bulkhead.
Most Loadhopper models will be offered with three optional levels of equipment – L, M and H. Prices will start at £7495 plus VAT plus a delivery charge of £400 for the 1.1 Van and SC pickup.
DFSK UK, based in Swindon, is a British company set up to import and distribute Chinese-built DFSK microvans in the UK and Ireland.
