We know exactly what our customers need and which areas they operate in, and the vehicle solutions and bodies we will offer them will be a perfect fit to their needs and applications  – MAN Truck & Bus CEO Joachim Drees.

MAN Bus & Truck is expanding into the light commercial vehicles sector by launching a van range – and that’s just the beginning of the MAN van plan.

For while the MAN TGE will be a twin of the next generation Volkswagen Crafter, to be built together on a new production line in Poland, there will be much more than just a van to lead into the truck range giving a spread from three to 44 tonnes.

The move has been welcomed by Simon Elliott, managing director of MAN Truck & Bus UK, who says there are exciting times ahead with the launch of the new range of van which will be revealed at the 2016 IAA Commercial Vehicle Show, in Hanover.

The new product on sale in 2017 will offer various power ranges with front, rear and four-wheel drive and a choice of transmissions, producing a vehicle to meet all van drivers’ needs, with anticipated development of the UK dealer network.
