THE Sportivo name is back on the Fiat Professional sales brochure – and it’s aimed squarely at the small business / one man van operator.

With an upmarket spec and attractive looks, the Sportivo range is available on Fiorino, Doblò, Talento and Ducato vans.

Sportivo sits at the top of the Fiat Professional range.

It’s based on the Tecnico trim: air conditioning, touchscreen with satnav, reverse parking sensors and cruise control are also standard.

But Sportivo adds:  alloy wheels, metallic paint, Sportivo side-stripes, painted bumpers (except Fiorino), and a variety of other safety and comfort features.

Richard Chamberlain

Chamberlain: Sportivo – big SME  appeal

Richard Chamberlain, Head of Brand at Fiat Professional told Business Vans at the CV Show, where the Sportivo range made its debut:

“Sportivo for me is the right specification for the growing number of SMEs and single van van drivers who want something different but upmarket. We’ve been successful with Tecnico; Sportivo builds on this.”

Chamberlain added that Sportivo was perfect for the van operator who was proud of their van, and wanted it to reflect their business professionally.

“The Sportivo range is also good because not only does it look good for business it’s something proud to be driving around at weekends, particularly with the family.”

Chamberlain said he expected Talento to be the key Sportivo model – “it looks great in the colours we have for it, plus it’s the biggest segment for owner/operators.”

Pricing for the Sportivo range starts at just £14,815 (ex VAT) for the Fiorino Sportivo 1.3 80 HP MultiJet II – or £2,055 worth of equipment for just £1,500.
