Ford Ranger prices:

  • £18,571 (ex. VAT) for the XL Super Cab;
  • £21,171 for XLT;
  • £23,271 for Limited;
  • £26,171 for the Wildtrak

THE NEW Ford Ranger will be in the spotlight from launch, the double cab pick up priced from under £19,000 starring in leading European bike action sports and entertainment event Arenacross.

Prices for the new Ford Ranger, which debuted at Frankfurt Show, will start from £18,571 (ex. VAT) for the XL Super Cab. The series progresses with XLT (£21,171), Limited (£23,271) and the Wildtrak (£26,171).

Ford will be supplying Arenacross,  which features adrenaline-fuelled motocross displays, with three Rangers which will play a vital role in the transport of equipment used to stage each event next year.

The 2016 Arenacross tour starts on 2 January at the Manchester Arena and then heads to Belfast, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Sheffield before finishing at Wembley Arena in London on 27 February.

For the first time Ford will be offering the 3.2-litre TDCi 200PS six-speed auto powertrain on the Limited series, which accounts for more than 40 per cent  of sales. The Limited with 3.2-litre auto transmission starts at £25,721.

The new 2016 Ranger is the most fuel-efficient ever, and delivers reductions in fuel consumption of up to 17 per cent. Electronic power steering is now fitted as standard, and Auto-Start-Stop technology is now available across the range on all manual transmission vehicles, together with revised final drive ratio options.

The new Ford Ranger also features a host of driver assistance technologies and advanced connectivity delivering comfort and convenience. It is the latest vehicle in the Ford range to get Ford’s voice-activated SYNC 2 connectivity system with an eight-inch touchscreen.

Driver-assist technologies including Lane Keeping Alert and Lane Keeping Aid, Adaptive Cruise Control with Forward Alert, Front and Rear Park Assist, Rear View Camera and Electronic Stability Control system with rollover mitigation and trailer-sway control are also available.
