Mitsubishi L200

The new Mitsubishi L200 has undergone some significant changes and will be available in the UK later this year

MITSUBISHI chose the Geneva motor show to reveal the all-new L200 pick-up.

The L200, which gets a new look, majors on refinement and safety without compromising its off-road ability.

On top of these smoother new engines, this L200’s added refinement comes from a mix of improved body mountings and a revised suspension set up

Underneath the similar, but all-new styling the L200 is powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine in 151bhp with 280lb ft of torque, or 178bhp 317lb ft torque versions, with the cleanest model having a 169g/km CO2 figure.

On top of these smoother new engines, this L200’s added refinement comes from a mix of improved body mountings and a revised suspension set up. If the refinement doesn’t make you take notice of the new L200, the promised sharper driving experience will, which is the result of steering tweaks.

Mitsubishi have also made improvements to the comfort, cabin quality and space in the new L200.

Full-time four-wheel drive, stability control, traction control, lane departure and hill start systems are all features of this new Mitsubishi pick-up, with seven airbags standard.

The new L200 is expected to be launched in the UK this summer.
