FANS of Maidstone United will know that the homecoming to the county town in 2012 after sharing grounds with Ashford and Sittingbourne has been a tremendous success.
Local businesses chipped in to help the team get back to its own ground and now matches at the Gallagher Stadium regularly draw crowds of more than 2000.
The local branch of Northgate Vehicle Hire in Snodland is a team partner and has sponsored the stadium turnstiles (which are named ‘The Northgate Turnstiles’) as well as the pitch-side banners, and all marketing literature – including the club website and social media pages.
The van hire company’s sponsorship will also help support the club’s under-21s team and The Maidstone Football Academy.
Northgate Snodland branch manager Tara Cullen told Business Vans: “We have a strong association with the Snodland area, so teaming up with Maidstone United Football Club made perfect sense. As a fan of the football club, we look forward to seeing the partnership develop throughout the seasons.”
