OCTOBER could be a good month if you’re thinking of getting a new van. Renault Van Month has been announced with a range of offers that could save you a significant amount of money.

You can get up to £7,000 off the list price of a new van with the recently announced Scrappage offers. Renault are also offering four year interest free hire purchase rates, four years warranty and roadside assistance, and four years servicing on selected vans across the range.

The Renault scrappage allowance for vans is open to any vehicle registered before the 31st December 2010. The offer consists of a £2,000 scrappage allowance for all new panel vans on top of any customer savings available. It is also available on the Renault Kangoo Z.E. zero emission electric van with its range of 170 miles.

The scrappage scheme is available across the range. For example,

Kangoo Van: £2,000 scrappage allowance + £1,000 saving = £3,000 off
Trafic Van: £2,000 scrappage allowance + £3,500 saving = £5,500 off
Master Van: £2,000 scrappage allowance + £5,000 saving = £7,000 off

Rates during Renault Van Month start from just £160 per month for the Kangoo ML19 ENERGY dCi 75 Business. The Kangoo ML19 ENERGY dCi 90 Formula Edition is available for £23 a month more, including a 15bhp power increase that may prove useful.

The new Formula Edition adds specific content for each model with grille, fog light surrounds and Renault diamond in black with Sirius Yellow highlights. You also get exclusive Formula Edition black alloy wheels with a Sirius Yellow centre to match the rest of the exterior.

The larger Trafic range starts at just £198 per month for the SL27 dCi 120 Business. For an extra £4 per month you can add the air conditioning, mobile office features, smartphone cradle, load through full steel bulkhead, Wide View mirror and rear parking sensors found in the Business+ version.

A further £5 per month gets the Sport Nav version with 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights and wipers, and Renault MediaNav 7-inch touch screen. Also included is a leather steering wheel, electric front windows, upgraded upholstery and dashboard, cruise control and front fog lights.

If that’s not enough to entice you then maybe a Renault Sport Formula One Team merchandise pack with any model from the new Formula Edition range, or a free integrated dash cam with any fleet orders placed in October will convince you?

Anyone opting for the Formula Edition range during Renault Van Month will also receive a Renault F1 merchandise pack containing a branded mug, cap, key ring, umbrella and the choice of either a sweatshirt or body warmer.

The free dashcam, worth £200, is provided on all local fleet van orders placed in October and registered before 3rd November.  It has a compact design and 1.5” screen which offers immediate playback and comes hard-wired into the vehicle for additional convenience. It includes an 8gb SD card for recording.

Of course it’s the financial savings that will draw most people to the Renault Van Month offers rather than dashcams and key rings. But with winter coming a new body warmer could be just the ticket.
