SEMA 2015, or this year’s Speciality Equipment Marketing Association show, wasn’t all about modified sports cars – there was also a fine selection of highly modified commercials.

We pick SEMA’s five wildest commercials as our favourites from the show in Las Vegas.

Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD

What happens when Chevrolet and Detroit-based rapper-turned-country-rocker, Robert “Kid Rock” Ritchie, get together to produce their perfect pick-up?

Well, we reckon the result is almost as ‘in yer face’ as Mr Rock himself!

Outside this Silverado has a black paint job with a silver American flag stretching down the side, a massive chrome front grille with equally huge Chevrolet bowtie motif and those 22-inch rims. Carrying on to the back, there are two tall and truck-like chrome exhausts poking out of the pick-up bed.

To go with this special pick-up, there’s a pair of matching Gibbs Sports Quadskis that convert from all-terrain vehicles to personal watercrafts.

  • Ford Shelby 500 F150

The Shelby Cobra badge is usually found on the Mustang sports car, but when this pick up packs a 700bhp punch from the highly-tuned 5.0-litre V8, it seems justified to allow Ford to use the badge on a commercial together with the iconic racing stripes.

The Shelby 500 F150 is the result of work between Shelby American and Tuscany Motor Co, in Elkhart, Indiana.

This is no concept either, as 500 lucky punters will get the chance to own one of them.

Although no price is quoted, we expect this F150 to cost a pretty penny!

  • 2016 Nissan Titan XD “Triple Nickel”

Titan XD with Cummins V8

Looking like it has escaped from a NASCAR circuit, our next commercial from SEMA 2015 boasts 500bhp from its 5.0-litre V8 Turbo diesel engine.

How so? Well, Nissan has teamed up with high-performance engine maker Cummins to build this Titan XD.

The NASCAR look is more than a coincidence as it has been built to take part in their third biggest race series: The Camping World Truck Series circuit.

Boasting 555lb/ft of torque, hence the ‘Triple Nickel’ name, this Titan is also fitted with a full roll cage, lowered suspension, aerodynamic moon disc wheel covers, a custom front airdam and bed cover.

And was at SEMA fresh from being named “Truck of Texas” by the Texas motoring writers.

  • Ram Rebel X

If the name isn’t tough enough, the Ram Rebel X backs the name up with 5.7-litres of Hemi punch, which is fed by an active Ram Air duct.

You won’t miss this pick-up on the outside either, with its Copper paint job and matt black trim too.

If that paintjob doesn’t shout at you, the massive 35-inch wheels will help to put a scale to it!

Move inside and there’s a special leather interior too.

  • 2015 Toyota Tundrasine Concept

Toyota seem to have come up with an answer to a question that no one has asked with the Tundrasine concept.

The question? Well, what do you do if you need to transport a wedding party – plus space to carry enough building materials to build the altar in the back!

Basically a 26-and-a-half-foot long stretched Tundra, the Tundrasine boasts eight doors, special Midnight Black Metallic paint and a custom brown leather interior.
