HAVE you started to see more new Ford Transit Customs on the road recently?
They’re certainly becoming a more popular sight – but expect to see a lot more soon: in red.
Speedy, which provides equipment and support services to construction, manufacturing, industrial, and rail industries, has just completed a big order for business vans with Ford.

The Speedy order is for 380 Ford Transit vans and new Transit Custom models, as well as 20 Ford Ranger pick-ups.
The new Ford supplied Speedy fleet of Transits and Ranges will be operated from 283 Speedy locations throughout the UK.
The vans and pick ups will also be fitted with telematic equipment (click here to read more about the benefits of fitting telematics to business vans) to monitor driver behaviour and to encourage better fuel consumption from the drivers.
“Our fleet is an extension of our company brand so it is important that we choose the right vehicles to meet our customers’ needs and requirements,” commented Speedy logistics director Richard Martin.
“Speedy operates through a large network of depots covering the whole of the UK and these Ford vehicles will be vital to transport assets and equipment.”
