Best Tradeswoman

The Best Tradeswoman award is available to any women working in any trade

WITH women representing almost 6% of tradespeople in the UK, commercial vehicle leasing firm Vanarama has announced its sponsorship of the Best Tradeswoman category in this year’s Best Business Woman Awards 2015.

The Best Tradeswoman award is available to any women working in any trade, throughout the UK; entrants are asked to demonstrate why they and their customers think their business is better than the competition.

Vanarama works with tradespeople on a daily basis and has a 50% female management team

Vanarama works with tradespeople on a daily basis and has a 50% female management team – Andy Alderson, managing director of Vanarama, said;

“It’s fantastic to see the growth of women in trades. It’s clear that women now represent a significant, if still small, proportion of the trades sector and with the growing UK economy, this trend for female tradespeople looks set to continue.

“We thought it was about time the nation recognised the vital and increasing role women are making in trades today.  By sponsoring this Best Tradeswoman award we can showcase some of the best tradeswomen in the country, helping them to boost their business potential too.”

“As award winners ourselves, we understand the real benefits that come with being singled out as the best in your industry. Being selected over your competitors provides valuable third party endorsement and gives you a real edge when competing for customers.”
