Vauxhall and Gareth Southgate hold unique training session  to support Help for Heroes.

England football sponsors Vauxhall, recently teamed up with under-21 manager Gareth Southgate, to host a special training session for wounded soldiers and war veterans in aid of the Help for Heroes charity at St George’s Park.

Vauxhall provides numerous fleet vehicles to the England Football Association, including the new and improved Vauxhall Vivaro van. As a result, the teams and employees benefit from class-leading practical design, bags of comfort, convenience and safety, as well as a range of models to suit every need.

The event with Gareth Southgate came just a week before the England football squad started their training at St George’s Park – ahead of the World Cup this month, and allowed some of the Armed Force’s bravest service men and women to spend some time training with one of England football’s most loyal ambassadors.

When talking about the event, Gareth Southgate said: “Spending some time with the men and women of Help for Heroes was a very humbling experience and seeing what massive football fans they are too. The work being done through Vauxhall and their support of such a great charity in terms of looking after our troops is fantastic and clearly they were having a great day.”
