Whole life costs clinched the deal for 60 Vivaros for Imtech

TECHNICAL services firm Imtech is to acquire 60 Vauxhall Vivaro vans as part of a 100 vehicle deal won after a competitive tendering process.

To decide what vans would be best for the business, Imtech asked ERA Fleet Cost Management (ERAFCM) to conduct a whole life costs analysis of the contenders.

The analysis led to the decision to specify Vauxhall Vivaro L1H1 doublecabs in Sportive trim for Imtech and its subsidiaries.

The vans will have Euro 5 compliant 2-litre CDTi 115PS engines which showed impressive economy and running costs for the 30,000 miles a year the vans are expected to cover. All the Vivaros will be ply-lined and decked out in Imtech’s livery as well as being fitted with telematics.

The new Vivaros will join 20 Combos and a sprinking of Corsavans and Movanos already in use at Imtech.
