Volkswagen Transporters to the rescue with roadside recovery firm

Allianz Global Assistance has taken on 79 Transporters for its roadside recovery fleet

FUEL efficiency, payload capacity and value for money were all on the Allianz Global Assistance shopping list when the recovery firm needed new vans for its roadside assistance fleet.

The company picked Volkswagen Transporters for the job, with 79 models supplied by Birmingham Volkswagen Van Centre, in a deal worth £1.75 million. The dealership worked with Allianz Global Assistance to ensure the vehicles were delivered on time and to the bespoke specification required.
