Extra value has been added to the Transporter range this year with the introduction of additional trim levels – Trendline and Highline – offering extra specification at a competitive price. This equipment is worth £1850 but customers save £750 as they only pay an additional £1100.

Finally, higher residual values are a strong hallmark of the Transporter range, which makes its wholelife costs more competitive, and mean the customer’s vehicle is worth more when the time comes for disposal.

One of the judges, Eddie Parker, LCV consultant at GE Capital Fleet Services,  commented: “The Transporter is an icon for businesses in this sector. Its quality and reliability gives it pole position.”

The Business Van of the Year Awards 2014 are supported by MAGMA Automotive.
