Iveco_Daily

Single and double cab versions of the chassis cab with load capacities up to 4700kg

How has the Daily changed under the skin?

New suspension to start with, at the front and in the rear, and aimed at improving the load carrying capacity of the vans as well as decreasing the height of the load area in single axle versions. Iveco says the new van is also safer and more stable as a consequence.

Fuel consumption and running costs is the next improvement. 2.3 and 3-litre engines with 9 outputs from 106-205hp power the Iveco Daily. They can be supplied as either Euro 5 or Euro 6 compliant. Iveco says that fuel consumption is 5% better on average, and that gets better still with particular models.

The new Daily also has a number of innovative economy boosting features such as the ‘EcoSwitch’ which improves consumption by cutting torque and maximum speed for example, and the Smart Alternator recovers kinetic energy from the van’s momentum to charge the battery, rather than taking power from the engine.
