Citroen has teamed up with The Sun newspaper in a national campaign to search for Britain’s Best Brekkie.

Citroen is offering a new Berlingo van to a van driver nominating Britain’s Best Brekkie.

Citroen has teamed up with The Sun newspaper for the competition.

Citroen is asking Britain’s army of LCV drivers to nominate their favourite breakfast hotspot and stand a chance of winning a new Berlingo van.

The competition is launched today (20 February) with a four-page pullout feature in The Sun newspaper. At the same time, Citroen/Sun Britain’s Best Brekkie posters will be sent out for display in 2,500 cafes throughout the UK.

The competition continues until 13 March. The winner will receive their new Berlingo van at the end of March with The Sun girls and Citroen’s Robert Handyside presenting the keys at the winning cafe.

Robert Handyside, Citroen’s commercial vehicle operations manager, commented: “There are thousands of hard-working van drivers who know what makes a great breakfast. We know what it takes to make a good van and we are offering the chance to win a fantastic new Berlingo in our competition to find the cafe serving the Britain’s Best Brekkie in 2009. The winning cafe will get the prestigious Citroen Sun plaque and £1,000.”
