Ford Transit Custom

This van is nicknamed the “backbone of Britain” for good reason. It is the most popular van on our roads and is Ford’s flagship model. In fact, it is probably the best-known van in the worldwide commercial vehicle market. However, Ford has introduced four different editions of the Ford Transit, allowing you to get a great van that matches your different business requirements.

You have the Transit Courier, which is the smallest van on offer. It is a small city van, great for the small jobs around towns and cities. Next is the Transit Connect, which is a compact van. This one still isn’t huge, but it carries more in terms of weight and space, making it perfect for most jobs.

Following that is the Transit Custom is the mid-size panel van, which most of us see on the roads. Then there is the full size, Transit ‘two-tonne’ that carries the most in terms of weight and space.

The Ford Transit has an eight-way adjustable driver’s seat, full bulkhead and plenty of safety tech. The load length for the ‘two-tonne’ is split into three: L2, L3 & L4 and the roof height is split into two choices: H2 & H3. You can choose the options you want, dependent upon your business requirements.
