Great product and service offering needs to be consolidated by a great support structure, which is exactly what LeasePlan has established.

It is constantly looking to refine its proposition – with the recent expansion of our LCV repairer network serving a prime example. Other key measures in the past 12 months alone, include the development and roll-out of a LCV training programme for all employees.

LeasePlan’s CV Academy is designed to give employees a basic grounding in LCVs (terminology, models, weights/payloads etc), providing more in-depth training for those who have increased volumes of contact with business van users/operators.

LeasePlan also has a dedicated SMR booking team and process-flows specifically for LCV customers. By having the right LCV experts on hand to manage these processes, it is better able to ensure that vehicles are sent to the most appropriate location for SMR – regardless of whether the event is planned or unplanned.

The company has also created a new, dedicated rental bookings team, designed to streamline the daily rental bookings process for both LCVs and cars.

Its new Triple Guarantee product has been developed to provide additional guarantees for customers with medium to large van fleets. This insurance product features an  end-of-contract guarantee, ensuring no charge is applied if vans sell for their quoted residual value, and a VOR guarantee.
