THE Volkswagen Caddy panel van was named Business Van of the Year on March 07, 2018.
Announced at the awards ceremony at Scott’s of Mayfair, the award was presented to David Hanna, Head of Fleet, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
The Volkswagen Caddy 1.2 TSI C20 84ps Startline BMTwas also named Best Small Trades Van as well as taking the overall award in the Vansdirect supported Business Van of the Year Awards.

The Caddy was part of a resounding success story at the Business Van of the Year Awards, with the Volkswagen Crafter, Volkswagen Amarok and Volkswagen Transporter Kombi all winning awards. It is the second successive year that Volkswagen has won the overall prize.

The Business Van of the Year Awards are run by Business Vans and supported by Vansdirect.
All judging is by an independent panel of experts in the SME, commercial vehicle and leasing sector.
Chair of the judges is Paul Hollick, Chair of the ICFM & Managing Director at TMC.

This is the third time that Volkswagen has won the overall Business Van of the Year title.
In 2014 the inaugural Business Van of the Year was the Volkswagen Transporter 2.0 TDI T28 Trendline SWB BlueMotion; and last year the Volkswagen Transporter Panel T6 2.0TDI T28 Highline SWB BMT MR 102PS was named Business Van of the Year.
