LOW Cost Vans, specialists in the supply of commercial vehicles to businesses across the UK, has announced that is to introduce a scheme unlike any other to incentivise its workforce.

The five weeks can be taken at any time and staff will remain on full pay; their salary will include any their average bonus given figures from the past 12 months to ensure they do not lose out financially. In addition, this is on top of their holiday entitlement.

Low Cost Vans invests heavily in staff training and already boasts very good employee retention

Low Cost Vans invests heavily in staff training and already boasts very good employee retention. This new scheme represents yet another incentive that is designed to reward hard work and loyalty – in other words, going the extra mile.

Managing director of Low Cost Vans, Rod Lloyd, said;

“We are very proud of the team atmosphere we have; we have a very low attrition rate of staff anyway. People like working here but I wanted to offer an incentive that would allow staff to plan for a life changing trip or event.

“We tend to hire local people and invest in them from the start. That has paid dividends for the company over the years and offering this five week sabbatical after ten years of service represents a great way to say thank you for all of the hard work.”

Low Cost Vans believes that incentivised staff lead to excellent morale, which in turn, is passed on to the customer. As well as an outstanding staff retention rate, it is usual for clients to return to the company for additional vehicles and also renewals.

Rob Lloyd continued;

“We are firm believers in happiness – a happy team means happy customers and that is what we specialise in.”
