Quaratix

Simple looking little box, but telematics is growing fast as business van managers look to get greater control over their operations

TELEMATICS company Quartix has appointed two new non-executive directors; both point to the company’s international ambitions.

Signs of Quartix’s international business are already very apparent. In April, Quartix opened an office in Chicago and since then has picked up business in ten US states. New sales and support staff, plus a network of distributors, will add impetus.

Both Paul Boughton and Jim Warwick have strong track records in international business development and their experience will be invaluable in promoting this expansion in both the US and elsewhere.

Paul Boughton has been making business acquisitions in the US and Europe for over 25 years. He’s currently head of business development at Brammer PLC where he leads its European acquisition programme and has held board positions at Consort Medical and IMI PLC.

Jim Warwick is CEO at Abcam which is a global leader in innovative protein research tools. He’s previously worked on IT, software and web developments for Analysys – a telecomms consultancy.

“We are delighted to welcome Paul and Jim,” explains Quartix Managing Director Andy Walters. “They join us at an exciting time in the growth and development of our company.”
