Britalitez

The lights are efficient, long-lasting, and waterproof

“Britalitez uses the latest LED technology, making the lights extremely compact, yet creating a huge amount of light. Looking to the future, we are now testing new 24V kits, suitable for larger vehicles.”

LED lights offer far greater efficiency than standard light units and – as demonstrated by the car industry – offer greater scope for neater, more compact designs. Britalitez claims each module will have a lifespan of 50,000 hours and are up to 60% more efficient than a neon bulb.

Perhaps crucially, given the current weather conditions, the British-built units are also waterproof and come with a 12-month warranty.

And although Steve points to delivery vans, tradesmen trucks and dog-training vehicles as known uses of his products, it’s also possible to see them being used in caravans, horse boxes, motorhomes, race support vehicles and boats.

But Britalitez won’t be stopping there, with Steve keen to throw some light on his long term ambitions for the company.

“We are looking to offer similar kits to the summerhouse, shed, stable and outbuilding market, with a range of self-generating solar panel LED kits. The future’s quite literally bright for us!”

It’s often said that the best ideas in life are the simplest, normally born out of necessity or a consistent struggle. And in the case of Britalitez, we see a company that demonstrates continued growth in a recessed economy. Less ‘green shoots of recovery’, and more ‘light at the end of the tunnel’.
