Quick conversions are available that sidestep traditional factory lead time

Director of Global Van Solutions, Jon Lewis, said;

“By pre-ordering large batches of L2, L3 and L4 chassis cabs from manufacturers including Ford, Citroen, Peugeot, Nissan, Iveco and Mercedes, we can get a chassis to a bodybuilder within 7 days of taking an order. Then, by pre-booking build slots at our preferred bodybuilders, we can get the body complete and registered within a couple of weeks – this saves the customer a good few months over a standard factory lead time and we’ll take care of all the paperwork”

Jon continued;

“The vast majority of customers choose to fund their vans on a finance lease agreement so a major benefit of dealing with us is that we can finance the complete product instead of the customer having to finance the chassis cab from the dealership and then having to find the funds to pay for the body conversion, or borrow the money from two different sources. This also gives them the added benefit of being able to write off just the one fixed monthly rental against tax.

“Our aim is to keep the process nice and simple for the customer; we deal with all the transport movements of the vehicle, arrange all the paperwork and get the vehicle registered. We work closely with the vehicle manufacturer and the bodybuilder to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

“It’s a win-win situation for the customer – with our buying power and relationships with manufacturers and bodybuilders we can also the save the customer a significant sum of money.”
