The first new T6 vans will be delivered to their no doubt happy owners this month and we wonder how many of them will spec theirs as a Generation Six limited edition version? So what’s the Generation Six edition I hear you ask?

Well it was our highlight from the T6 reveal event back in April and basically celebrates the charm of the iconic early Transporter models with the unique two-tone paint and the retro-looking white and chrome wheels. Other details including the price haven’t been revealed, but it will be powered by the 150PS version of the 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine and come with a DSG gearbox.

Did you know that the Sprinter turned 20 this year? Well just in case you didn’t, Mercedes has decided to commemorate the special birthday with this 20th Anniversary Edition. Just 1,200 will be available, with special features including air-conditioning, sat-nav, a comfort driver’s seat and wheel trims. Costing just £750 more than standard, the extras add up to £2,000 on this special Mercedes van.
