THINK van, think Transit, as Ford’s iconic commercial range has always been a key vehicle leasing choice.

So when Ford announced a complete revamp of the Transit range to include everything from a new urban van, the Transit Courier, to a big 2 tonne Transit, Ford seems to have the market covered.

But what’s right for you and your business?

Early independent road tests suggested Ford has got it right with the range on every count, with highlights including a great driving position with improved visibility, better driveability, plus more stowage and load access and lower running costs.

But the range is extensive. And what should you look for?

Ford Transit Custom

Possibly the best one tonne van on sale, the Transit Custom combines the practicality of short and long wheelbase bodies, with the refinement and economy of a 2.2-litre TDCi diesel engine.

On top of this, the Ford Transit Custom has a comfortable driving position, a car-like dashboard and all versions are great fun to drive.

Ford Transit Custom Cab-in-Van

All the positives of the standard Custom van, with an extra rear seat practicality and plenty of legroom.

However, because Cab-in-van versions are based on the long-wheelbase body, this Transit’s load area is still big enough to fit in a Europallet.
