L200’s new warranty will provide peace of mind for five years/125,000 miles, says Mitsubishi

Buying a van or pick-up for your business represents a considerable investment. Reliability is an important consideration and the vehicle warranty plays a major part in this. So it could be comforting to know that Mitsubishi Motors is now offering the longest warranty of any pick-up truck in the UK marketplace for its L200 model, providing customers with peace of mind for a class-leading five years/125,000 miles*, says the company.
The pick-up market has seen considerable growth during the past decade and Mitsubishi reckons much of that can be attributed to the success of the L200, and its commercial models. The company says despite the current market conditions, the L200 has been selling in impressive numbers and continues to be a top choice among pick-up customers.
The Mitsubishi L200 offers three cab configurations – single, club, and double – with a broad range of specifications, from the practical 4Work variant, to the more luxurious range-topping Barbarian and Walkinshaw models.
The pick-up has a versatile transmission system that allows it to be driven in two- or four-wheel-drive, even on dry roads. It was the first pick-up truck to receive a 4★ NCAP safety rating and, according to Mitsubishi, is one of the most fuel-efficient pick-ups with among the lowest emissions in the marketplace. Mitsubishi Motors UK managing director Lance Bradley told Business Vans: “Warranty cover for five years or 125,000 miles gives buyers of the Mitsubishi L200 peace of mind for longer than with any other pick-up in the UK.
