Our new seasonal checks help to protect against unexpected and costly downtime while boosting duty of care

For £20 you get a  pretty comprehensive check, which will pay for itself the first time your vehicles down break down in the snow.

The fast-fit firm has introduced a new 20-point winter seasonal inspection and fluid top-up service to guard against the most common reasons for cars and vans breaking down. It is more detailed than traditional free vehicle health checks.

Peter Fairlie, group sales director at ATS Euromaster, said: “Fleets have told us they want the added reassurance of an experienced technician inspecting their vehicles in between services, which can be as far as 20,000 miles apart. “Our new seasonal checks help to protect against unexpected and costly downtime while boosting duty of care.”

In addition to a range of vehicle tyre health checks, the seasonal inspections include a levels check for oil, clutch fluid, brake fluid, power-steering fluid and screen wash, with free top-ups (as appropriate).

Technicians also inspect the dashboard for warning lights, operation of the air-conditioning system, horn, lights, drive belts, wiper blades, washer jets and cooling system. They also remove all wheels for a thorough brake inspection, plus clean and lubricate battery connections where required.
