Renault Pro+ unveils new Kangoo ZE

  • New motor and battery package raises range 50% to ‘real world’ 124 miles
  • Launch 13 January at the 2017 European Motor Show in Brussels.

THE latest Renault Kangoo ZE will go 50% further with a new motor and battery package that increases its driving range to a ‘real world’ 124 miles.

The existing model’s range is 106 miles in the NEDC calculations, and Renault Pro+ is raising this to 168 miles NEDC (124 miles in real world driving conditions).

The new Kangoo ZE will offer the longest available driving range in the small van market, launched at a time of clean air initiatives including ultra low emission zones in some cities and plans for diesel bans in some European cities including Paris and Madrid.

The Kangoo Van ZE is a practical solution for environmentally-conscious business customers, winning commendations for driving enjoyment, carrying capacity and competitive operating costs.

This announcement to increase the range on Kangoo ZE follows Renault’s launch at the 2016 Paris Motor Show the New Renault ZOE available with a new Z.E.40 battery that increases its NEDC driving range to 250 miles (186 miles in real world driving conditions) – the longest of any mainstream electric car.

Renault is Europe’s leading manufacturer of both all-electric LCVs and passenger cars.
