Best green van

RENAULT adds Best Green Van to its other awards for the all-electric Kangoo Van in the 2017 Business Van of the Year Awards.

But, how did the Kangoo Z.E LL 21 i-Maxi Z.E 44kW Auto version of this Citroen Dispatch rival, manage to topple last year’s winner – the Vauxhall Vivaro?

The Renault Kangoo ZE Maxi LL21 44kW is a great choice for environmentally-aware SMEs, because this Renault makes going electric, easy and affordable.

Best Green Van – The Contenders:

  • Renault Kangoo Van Maxi Z.E LL 21 i-Maxi Z.E 44kW Auto
  • Vauxhall Vivaro Panel 2900 1.6CDTi BiTurbo 125PS L1H1 Sportive Start/Stop ecoFLEX Euro 6
  • Citroen Dispatch M New 1.6 BlueHDi 95 1000 Enterprise

Last year’s winner was Vauxhall Vivaro 2700 Panel Van

Firstly, if you like the idea of an electric van, but don’t want it to stand out against conventionally-powered commercials, you’ll like the look of the Kangoo Z.E Maxi – as it is just like the standard van.

It has an impressive GVW of 2,060kg and includes all of the features and equipment that any van driver would demand.

With the improved batteries, the range jumps to 168 miles – making the Kangoo more useful to more businesses in the UK.

On top of that, it costs pence to run, plus the lack of engine oil, fewer filters, no belts or clutch to replace, is sure to result in lower running costs.
