The new Relay has higher levels of standard equipment than its predecessor, including:
- ABS with Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA)
- Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
- Remote central locking with deadlocks
- Full steel bulkhead
- Dual passenger seat
- Infotainment set-up with DAB radio and Bluetooth/USB
- Daytime running lights built into headlights
- Nearside sliding door
- Load compartment protective panelling to waist height
Relay Enterprise models add more including aircon, cruise control (with a speed limiter), and a touchscreen to work it all.
And if all that’s not enough there’s a variety of option packs that mix and match these and other features:
- ‘Look Pack’ with LED daytime running lights, front fog lights and full wheel trims.
- ‘City Pack’ with rear parking sensors, reversing camera and electrical folding/heated door mirrors.
- ‘Comfort Pack’ which incorporates auto rain sensitive wipers, auto air conditioning, suspended driver’s seat & leather steering wheel.
- ‘All-Road Pack’ with Intelligent Traction Control and under body protection.
- ‘Safety Pack’ with Lane Departure Warning System, passenger air bag and tyre pressure sensors.
The new Relay should prove much more comfortable. Underbody improvements have reduced road noise, and inside there’s a new dashboard layout and trim.
There’s plenty of stowage with 10 in-cab storage areas. Adding to the mobile office functionality, the dual passenger seat incorporates a drop-down desk unit.
Citroen’s unique Trafficmaster telematics platform is fitted as standard on all new Relay vans. This includes Smartnav intelligent satellite navigation as well as Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking.
New Relay’s service intervals are up to two years or 30,000 miles (whichever comes first) for normal operations. This is backed by a flexible warranty of two years/unlimited mileage or three years/100,000 miles (whichever comes first).
