The new Isuzu D-Max Blade is a special edition of the pick-up aimed at turning the heads of business users who may not have considered a pick-up

COLIN Wilson has been appointed to the newly created position of National Fleet Manager at Isuzu. He moves to Isuzu from Northgate Vehicle Hire.

The appointment shows the company’s determination to increase sales of the Isuzu D-Max pick-up to businesses. It will be adding a range of specialist new conversions as part of its plans, some of which will be at the CV Show at the end of the month.

“This is a great opportunity to work with a brand in the ascendancy and with a great product,” comments Wilson. “The D-Max is starting to show growth in the fleet segment as more buyers realise its longer term cost efficiencies.”

At the same time, Matt Gibson becomes the new Regional Dealer Manager for the South East, joining Isuzu from Honda.

Commenting on both appointments, William Brown, Isuzu’s General Manger in the UK said, “The attributes of the Isuzu D-Max are well known but its relevance as a cost efficient fleet offering, less so.

“These new appointments reflect the growing diversification of our sales and the level of confidence we have in the pick-up’s appeal to business buyers.”
