Lockable hard folding tonneau fitted to a Nissan Navara
WANT to keep your pick-up loadbed safe from prying eyes without going to the expense of a full hardtop? Then a Truckman Extang tonneau cover might be the answer.
The pick-up and 4×4 accessory manufacturer and distributor has just introduced the Extang – America’s top-selling pick-up cover – to the British market.
You can get one for the Mitsubishi L200, Nissan Navara D40, Toyota Hilux and the Volkswagen Amarok. There are 3 types:
- Trifica – a soft tonneau that rolls off in three stages. Unlike most soft covers, Truckman says it won’t warp or stretch in use. £255 (ex VAT)
- Express is a soft roll-cover that is fixed using Velcro side rails rather than press-studs. This allows the cover to be rolled back as necessary but still kept in place. (£275 ex VAT)
- Hard Folding – this one has a ‘tri-fold’ design to give security when it’s locked and also to allow awkward loads to be accommodated easily. It’s made from aircraft-grade aluminium – light and strong – and is finished in black. (£499 ex VAT)
