Vauxhall Movano EcoFLEX

Big Movano, but low on CO2 thanks to ecoFLEX

Lowest CO2 vans identified with new branding

VAUXHALL is to offer eco-friendly versions across its whole business van range. The new ecoFLEX commercial vehicles range includes two new Luton-built Vivaro ecoFLEX vans, a 2.0CDTi (90PS) and a 2.0CDTi (115PS), both with CO2 outputs of just 185g/km, and payloads of up to 1,254kg.

Meanwhile the Movano ecoFLEX offers best-in-class CO2 output of 202g/km. This van is based on the 3.3-tonne L2H2 2.3CDTI (100PS) model already on sale, featuring efficiency features such as manually-operated windows, door mirrors and door locking, a tyre repair kit in lieu of spare wheel and a 56mph speed limiter as standard.

Vauxhall’s new eco-middleweight CVs complement the recently-launched Corsavan ecoFLEX 1.3CDTi (75PS) Start/Stop which emits just 105g/km of CO2. And Astravan and Combo will see the lowest CO2 output derivatives badged as ecoFLEX.

Steve Bryant, brand manager, Vauxhall CVs, said: “Vauxhall is the first manufacturer to offer an ‘eco’ product for each model in its range. Green credentials are becoming a higher priority for customers looking to reduce the carbon footprint of their vehicles.  Our vans have always been known for their low running costs and the ecoFLEX badge clearly identifies to our customers the lowest CO2 model for each vehicle in our range.”

The full range of ecoFLEX commercial vehicles will be available to order at Vauxhall retailers from February.
